Bacon, Cheddar, + Chive Waffles

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup @birchbenders paleo pancake & waffle mix

  • Water until batter is a thick consistency (about just over 1/3 cup)

  • 1 piece of @applegate bacon, cooked and chopped up; 2 extra pieces to eat with after (optional)

  • 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/8 cup of chives (can also replace with green onions)

  • 1 egg (optional to top waffle with)

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients above in a bowl and put in a waffle maker on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

  2. To cook the bacon, broil on 525 for 8 minutes.

  3. Optional: add a fried egg over easy or medium on top with 2 pieces of bacon + everything but the bagel seasoning
