Dark Chocolate Cherry Energy Bites
Ingredients:
1 & 1/4 cups dry old fashion rolled oats (minute oats work as well)
2 scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder. I use Sunwarrior brand!
1/2 cup Trader Joe’s all natural creamy almond butter (6-7 heaping tablespoons makes it easier to measure and scoop out if you want to do it that way instead!)
1/3 cup of pure maple syrup
3 TBSP of dried dark cherries chopped up
3 TBSP of @hukitchen snacking and baking chocolate gems
3 TBSP of raw almond slivers (optional)
1 TBSP flaxseed
1 TBSP chia seeds
1 TSP pure vanilla extract
Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
1-2 TSP of Ceylon cinnamon
Directions:
Add all ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.
Put in fridge for 30 minutes to make it easier to roll into individual bites.
Take out and roll into 1 TBSP energy bites.
Makes about 20-22
