Sweet & Savory Toast Two Ways

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of Ezekiel sesame bread, toasted

  • 1/2 teeny tiny avocado (found at Trader Joe’s)

  • 1 hard boiled egg

  • 1 cup raspberries, mashed

  • 1 TBSP chia seeds

  • 1 TBSP almond butter

Directions:

  1. To make homemade raspberry chia jam: Mash up 1 cup of raspberries with 1 TBSP of chia seeds and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight (overnight is best).

  2. Slice toast in half.

  3. On one half, mash up 1/2 tiny avocado with a hard boiled egg on top. Garnish with Everything but the Bagel seasoning and red pepper flakes.

  4. On the other half, put 1 TBSP of almond butter with 2 TBSP of homemade raspberry chia jam. Garnish with cinnamon and/or hemp seeds for extra protein.
