Taco Bake
Ingredients (makes 4-6 servings):
1 lb. 95% lean ground beef
2 cups of diced red & green bell peppers
1 TBSP @fourthandheart California garlic ghee
1/2 can (14 ounces) Pastene tomato sauce
1 cup brown rice, cooked
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 TBSP of @sietefoods hot sauce
1 TBSP of homemade taco seasoning (chili powder, oregano, cumin, black pepper, pink salt, smoked paprika)
Optional: corn tostadas, guac, salsa
Directions:
In a deep sauté pan over medium heat melt 1 TBSP of California garlic ghee and add ground beef + taco seasoning. Sauté until browned.
Add diced bell pepper and sauté for another 5-7 minutes.
Add tomato sauce + brown rice and mix together.
Stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
Add mixture to casserole dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes on 350.
Take out and serve as is, or add in some corn tostadas, guac, & salsa
